MUBS are a Manchester-based youth chorus founded at the University of Manchester in 2010. Currently, the group consists of a mixed gender chorus that has weekly rehearsals, annual concerts and competes at the British Association of Barbershop Singers convention every year.
Although we are affiliated wit the University of Manchester Students' Union and the majority of our members are students, this is NOT a requirement for you to be able to join.
All students across the Manchester Univerisities are welcome to join and individuals aged 18-25 are also welcome.
We do not hold auditions and no prior singing ability or music experience is required to join, although the ability to hold a tune would give you a head start.
We usually rehearse once a week during university term times and have performance opportunities throughout the year.
